- Lake Louisa State Park: on the southwest shore of Lake Louisa, south of town, at the edge of the Green Swamp, with smaller lakes inside the park.

If you are coming from out of state, plan a weekend drive around the lakes and up to the Citrus Tower. It is a quick way to see how the older lakefront streets differ from the newer neighborhoods along US 27.

Roads, Schools and Getting Around
State Road 50 runs east and west through Clermont toward Winter Garden and Orlando. US 27 runs north and south through the city toward Minneola to the north and the Four Corners area to the south. Both carry heavy traffic at rush hour, so test your commute at the time you would drive it before you commit to a neighborhood.
